Jewellery That Defines My Style Identity

There’s something about the change in seasons that can awaken a desire for a style reinvention.

Sometimes we yearn for a full on out with the old and in with the new, and other times a simpler decluttering and reimagining of items we already have is enough. But whatever level you take it too, there will be signature items and accessories that will always remain, because they truly define your style identity.

These are the pieces that speak to who you are and how you’re remembered by others. Perhaps it’s a certain style of skirt, type of shoe, colour of lipstick or style of jewellery. When you wear it, you feel amazing and ooze confidence. Only you can know what these pieces are and what you want them to say about you, so trust your instincts!

As you may have guessed, for me I show the world who I am through my jewellery. All of the pieces I design have a nod to my style identity in some way. My style is chic and feminine, with a bold edginess; I like to turn heads and make a unique statement with how I look.

I was asked recently if I could pick just a couple of bracelets, necklaces and earrings for day and the same for night that truly define my style identity. Never one to turn down a challenge, I got my thinking cap on and set to work narrowing my selection down!

Day Pieces

I always want my signature day jewellery to be lightweight and comfortable, but it still needs to make a big statement.

I’ll often opt for pastel blues and yellows, beige, nude or white for my daytime outfits, and all of these pieces I’ve chosen go beautifully with this range of colours.

 

Bracelets

Bracelets don’t just look great; they also make me feel confident and beautiful and help me stand out and look a little different from others. I love the ability bracelets have to make your hands look more seductive and slimmer.

These bracelets are my absolute favourite pieces that embody all of these elements for me. I adore the combination of femininity and boldness, which really showcases my personality.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Necklaces

Horn and resin are my go-to materials for my daytime necklaces. I love the way they can look super chunky and chic, while still being incredibly lightweight to wear.

These necklaces are a dream! They’re so comfortable and combine really easily with any outfit! They make a bold statement with a super chic vibe, which embodies my style identity.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Earrings

During the day I like to keep my earrings simple and leave my necklace and/or bracelet to make the statement.

These light brown and black stud earrings are perfect with just about any daytime look I put together, and make a nice alternative to a simple silver stud.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Evening Pieces

My style with evening jewellery really depends on whether I have time to think about what I’m wearing for a particular event, or if I’m in a hurry and just need to grab and go!

For a night out with friends I’ll choose an outfit that’s not too formal with a statement piece that’s unique and eye catching.

If I’m going to a dressy event, more often than not I wear a black dress or white suit. I’ll select pieces that draw attention away from my outfit to the jewellery, especially if I’ve worn my outfit more than once and I’m seeing the same people!

 

Bracelets

These beaded bracelets are my favourite and add a touch of glamour for the evening.

I love to layer up a couple of multi-strand pieces to create a statement look with a chic feminine twist that’s synonymous with my style identity. I adore the colours in these pieces as well, and they combine so beautifully with any colour outfit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Necklaces

For a more relaxed night out with friends this statement tassel necklace is a winner! It’s bold and unique and the combination of materials and movement makes it an eye catching and interesting piece.

The two bib necklaces look incredible with evening dresses or a tailored suit and really draw the eye. I generally don’t wear any other jewellery with these necklaces as they’re bold enough to hold attention all by themselves.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Earrings

For the evening I like to wear drop earrings for a more glamorous look.

These dangle earrings are effortlessly chic and add an interesting and elegant dimension to any outfit I pair them with.
